Daddy Day Care is a 2003 American comedy film directed by Steve Carr and written by Geoff Rodkey. The film stars Eddie Murphy, Jeff Garlin, Steve Zahn, Regina King, and Anjelica Huston.
In the film, Charlie Hinton (played by Eddie Murphy) and his friend Phil Ryerson (played by Jeff Garlin) lose their jobs at a large food company. Desperate for income, they start Daddy Day Care, a childcare service for working parents. They face a series of challenges as they learn how to run a daycare while also dealing with the responsibilities of fatherhood.
